I’ve got some bad news. I completed my new game and I wanted to publish it on the internet today, but I’ve run into some problems. After the latest Game Maker update, I can’t run the game on the HTML5 platform. I just get a loading bar followed by a white screen. I switched to GX.games and the game turned on. Unfortunately, every time I switch rooms (levels, menus, etc.), the game flickers. The screen goes black for a split second and it’s kind of an eye sore. I’m trying to fix it, but I’m still not successful.
I can’t publish the full game, but I can at least share one thing with you. I went back and changed one of the panels in the first cutscene. It now shows some of the forms that Compalmate will take on throughout the game.
What do all of them do? You’re gonna have to play the game to find out. I’m dealing with a roadblock right now, but I’ll find a way around it sooner or later. It will take more than some technical issues to keep TX2 and Compalmate down.
