Comment Highlights 4

Huh, it’s been five months since the last time I’ve done this. I’m glad I’m still able to find things to do on Wednesdays.

Anyway, time to highlight comments that I’ve especially liked (and didn’t already reply to), starting from where I’ve left off. Do you see why I’m making sure not to do this too often?

Comic 68: Pulling the Rug

Here are two comments that are not too interesting on their own, but it’s funny that I got them back to back:

I’m happy you two didn’t start a flame war. There’s a limit on how many replies you can chain together, for lack of a better term.

Comic 77: Rated E for Exclusive

Who am I to judge? When I was a kid, I watched plenty of things I was too young for. I turned out fine…

Comic 81: Aimless Passtime

This comment reminded me of something. I gave myself (Bright Side), my mom (Night Light) and my dad (Star Trip) names that have to do with light, but not my brother (Double Tap). I hope he doesn’t feel left out.

I guess even the caricature of myself isn’t all bad. Even if he often screws up when he tries to be nice.

Speaking of caricatures, the line between a fictional character and a real person is often blurred on the internet (like in Eddsworld, for example). It took me making this webcomic to realize how weird that is.

Comic 92: Cut out of the Comfort Zone

One of my fans tried giving me art advice:

Okay, she said “hands” when she meant “arms”. I guess English isn’t her first language. Nevertheless, her comment made me realize that I was drawing arms that were too short. I took her advice, but I must’ve misunderstood it because for a while, I drew the arms too long. When I got a drawing doll as a gift, I finally started drawing arms that were of normal length. Art really is a journey.

That ended up more poetic than I expected. Anyway, keep having fun in the comments.
