The Return of "Would you Rather"

It’s been over a year since I played “Would You Rather” on this blog, so I’m doing it again. I’m going on the website and answering the first five questions that I get. Most of the questions are a “pick your poison” kind of deal, so I’ll have to get ready for some tough choices, starting with…

Why would anyone choose the left over the right? Either way, you’re not communicating with anyone. You might as well pick the option that doesn’t erradicate the human race. That being said, even the less bad option is a terrible deal. If the condition was, “You can’t talk to anyone,” I could still write or use sign language, but that counts as communication. I don’t get a loophole.

Ironically enough, I couldn’t live independently if I couldn’t communicate with anyone. How would I buy property? How would I get or maintain a job or a relationship? The second option is basically a severe disability.

Maintaining a garden sounds slightly easier than hunting animals, so I’m choosing the latter. Also, surviving on a vegan diet is more likely that surviving on a carnivorous one. There are plenty of plants that can grow in a few weeks, so I won’t have to wait too long. Winter would be difficult, but not impossible. I can store food for three months. Spoilage can be dealt with by just freezing or dehydrating my fruits and vegetables.

Unlike the last question, this one lets me be a rules lawyer. Can I drink my nutrients instead of eating them? There are plenty of supplements that you can mix with water. If I ask people to help me maintain my garden, does it still counts as me growing it? Do I have to do all the work?

The first one sounds like it would give me claustrophobia. The second one sounds awesome! Who doesn’t want their own stronghold? I would create my own micronation and roleplay as a medieval king. Granted, I don’t know anything about running a nation. It would collapse in a few weeks, but it will be fun while it lasts.

Again with the bunker. In this case, it’s a better option. Ten random people is not enough to rebuild civilization. In two or three generations, humanity will have to choose between inbreeding and extinction. There’s also a good chance that we’ll start with even fewer people. How many of those ten random people will be women who have gone through menopause? I don’t know how many people we need to rebuild civilization, but it’s definitely more than ten.

The blue one seems easily manageable. Just cut off the burnt part and eat the rest. The burnt part is going to be on the outside, so it should be easy to identify. But fine, let’s say I have to eat the whole thing. Same solution as the second question. Become a vegan and drink supplements for any nutrients that I miss.

That’s five of them. I didn’t mean for them to be similar to one another, I just got lucky. As always, I have a question for you. Would you rather go through your entire family’s internet history (they don’t have to know) or have your entire family go through your internet history?
