Well, the four weeks are over and it’s time to show off all the logos that were used during Pride Month. Admittedly, there aren’t as many as last year. There just weren’t that many people making suggestions.
One more thing I wanna talk about. A few weeks before June, I made a comic where I made fun of the idea that trans people are a threat to society. One person commented, “A trans-species fox was born a fox but now feels like a hen and wants to enter their enclosure.” I deleted it. You can make “X identifies as Y” jokes, but this is a step too far.
Naturally, this comment made me worried about what the comment section is gonna look like when I start celebrating Pride Month. Throughout June, there were a lot of discussions in the comments about LGBT people, LGBT activism, etc. While I didn’t agree with every single comment, no one was being a mindless hater. I’d like to thank you for your politeness. I’m looking forward to celebrating next year.
