Making Asses of Ourselves

It’s been a while since I shared a story from the past. This one’s from back in the day when I was only posting comics on my high school class’ Facebook group. I occasionally got a colleague asking me if I could put them in a comic. This is one of the comics that came as a result of those requests. I translated it for your convenience:

As I’ve said before, my older comics aged poorly. The art and the joke were terrible, but that’s not why the girl I drew was upset. No, she was upset because I didn’t give her a bigger butt. At first I just laughed if off, but she was stubborn.

After a few days, we were playing ping-pong during PE. The girl and I were on opposite teams. I told her that if their team could beat ours in a game, I would remake the comic. She accepted the challenge. Unfortunately for her, my team won several times in a row. The class was approaching its end and the girl was getting more and more frustrated. We decided to switch to one point games. Obviously, she won one and I had to remake the comic. Here’s the “fixed” version:

This one looks even worse. On the bright side, the girl (and a lot of boys) were happy. It’s a good thing that the days of superficial complaints are over.

I can dream, can’t I?
