I'm starting an Instagram account/ Questions about fanart

Instagram

A few weeks ago I started a Twitter account because I wanted to make sharing my comics easier and a way to contact my fans in case my site goes down. Since then, I got zero followers and only two likes (from companies). I guess you guys just don’t have Twitter accounts.

Several people suggested starting an Instagram account. After seeing how slow things were on Twitter, I decided to take the advice. And to be honest, it was kind of a pain setting everything up. Instagram didn’t accept the G-mail address I used for Twitter, so I had to delete and restart my G-mail and Twitter account. When I finally managed to make an account, I couldn’t post anything: it turned out that it’s only possible on the phone. It made me wonder why people suggested Instagram in the first place.

I didn’t give up, though. I looked up how to get around that, and I found a way to make a website go from the computer version to the mobile version, while still on the computer (I hope I explained that right). The comic I posted is a little blurry and a little cropped, but you can still tell what’s going on. I hope it’ll be worth the trouble. As I’ve said before, I recommend you follow me on Twitter or on Instagram. You never know when something might go wrong with my site. No website works perfectly 100% of the time.

Fanart

When I announced “Whatever Wednesday”, one of the kinds of posts I brought up was fanart. I immediately got several comments asking me how to send me fanart. I guess I was underselling myself when I said I could dream. There are two ways you can send me art:

-Post it online and make a comment on my latest post with a link to it. I don’t reply to everything, but I do read every comment I get. It’s one of the funnest parts of running a webcomic.

-If you have a Twitter or an Instagram account, post it there and mention me. I’ll get a notification.

If it’s safe for work, I’ll ask you if I can post it on my website and if you say yes, my audience becomes your audience. I’ll even post a link to your (website you can post art on) profile. Have fun!
