I Made a Demo

Last Wednesday, I talked about a game I’m making. Today, I have two levels for you to play.

I finally subscribed to Game Maker and got the ability to export what I made. I can’t post the demo directly on my website, but I can post it on another one and embed it here. Don’t worry, you don’t need an account:

The controls are simple; arrow keys or WASD to run and jump, space to change the tangibility of black and white objects and R to restart a level. There’s no way to get stuck, but I need the restart button for when I’m testing it.

Speaking of testing, I’d like you to play the two levels and tell me what you think. Do the controls feel good? Is the game fair or not? Are the sounds too loud / too quiet?

If I had to make an estimate, I’d say that the game is 60 to 70 percent done. At least compared to my current plan for it. I can always add more levels and features later on.
