Last Wednesday, I talked about a comic I drew when I had just started college. I tried to predict what I was going to look like when I finished it. It’s time for me to show it to you.
“Ajksob” is the username I used to go by on the internet. There was no clever meaning behind it, it’s just a mangled version of my actual name. This comic is a time capsule in more ways than one. As you can see, I referenced both Deadpool and Rick and Morty. The age of this comic is very apparent. Although, Deadpool has gotten a new movie recently, so I guess he’s relevant again.
The panel that aged the worst is probably the fourth one. I didn’t give my self-insert a beard or a brown shirt. My logic was, trees start out as completely green, but then they turn brown. Furthermore, I was not done with exams forever when I finished college. As you might know, I had no luck finding a job, so I started an accounting course. Obviously, there was an exam at the end. I’m happy to say that I passed on the first try. My CV is a little fuller now and I looking for a job again. Hopefully I won’t have to start another course.
