This June, I wrote a blog post about the demographics of people who visited my website in the first half of this year. Recently, I got curious again and checked the world map in Squarespace Analytics. I came across a certain discovery. What did I discover? I’ll let you know at the end of this post.
As I’ve said before, keep in mind that Squarespace isn’t perfect when it comes to counting visitors. It confused me a few times already (take this map with a grain of salt). These are the demographics from the last six months. The lightest shade of grey means I got no visits from that country. The darker the shade, the more visits I got:
And these are all the countries with more than one visit:
Croatia 423
United States 106
Germany 19
Ireland 14
France 12
United Kingdom 11
Netherlands 6
Canada 5
China 4
Hungary 4
Malaysia 4
Argentina 3
Australia 3
Philippines 3
Poland 3
Indonesia 2
Romania 2
South Africa 2
Did you notice it? I got visits from every continent. However brief it was, Dim & Bright reached each one. It’s certainly a surreal experience. The only continent that Squarespace doesn’t track is Antarctica. If there’s any scientists there who read my comics, let me know.
