Ever since I started this website, I’ve had the same background: The color grey fading into yellow. I thought it fit pretty well with the name. Some people, however, found the background boring. I think most website backgrounds are ever more bland than mine, but that’s a weak excuse.
I decided to fill the background with symbols and objects that commonly appear in my comics. Almost all of them are tied to a specific character. I think it gives some chaotic personality to my website without distracting from the comics or texts. What do you think? If you think I should lower the opacity, I can do that; I still have the layered version. It’s one of the things I’m unsure about.
On a side note, I’m still looking for a comment section substitute. I found Isso and tested its comment section. I liked it, but I wanted to find out a few more things that weren’t on the website. I’ve sent a Gmail message, but they have yet to respond.
