I'm starting a Twitter account

I know I’ve made changes to my website in the past, but I feel like this one is major enough to warrant a blog post. For a while, I was wondering, “Should this webcomic have its own Twitter account?” On the one hand, I did encourage people to share my comics and it’s really easy to do so over Twitter. On the other hand, I don’t use social media that much. I spent most of my time on, for lack of a better word, meme sites. Heck, you probably found my website through one of them. Twitter also has a reputation for being a “hate-filled cesspool”. Who know what kind of trolls and haters I might attract?

I was undecided until I lost access to my website for several hours. I figured, I can’t expect to never have problems on this website, so it’s probably necessary that I have back up: a way to contact my readers in case something goes wrong. After a few minutes, a Twitter account was made. If you have a Twitter account, I recommend you follow me, for aforementioned reasons.

On Twitter, I’ll post every Friday comic, so there’s still incentive to visit my website. Like I said, I don’t use social media very often, so don’t expect too much activity. Friday comics, replies to some comments and news about possible website issues, that is all. Or maybe I’ll grow to like Twitter and spend all my time on it, who knows? Let’s see how this goes…

P. S. You don’t have to visit my site every day. These updates will probably be rare.
