When I wanted to celebrate 600 comics, I asked you what your favorite and least favorite comics are. I wanted to make two top 10 lists. Unfortunately, none of the comics got more than two votes. I still made the lists, but the slots were all interchangeable.
The 6th anniversary of Dim & Bright is approaching, so I want to do something different. I want to make a list of top 10 fan-favorite characters. There are much fewer characters than comics, so I believe this will go more smoothly.
I want you to go to the comment section and tell me who your favorite characters are. You can write one or you can write multiple. If you don’t know what their names are, just describe them. I drew all the comics, I’ll know who you’re talking about.
Before you comment, I should add a few disclamers:
It doesn’t matter if the character is based on a real person or not. They’re all eligible for the contest.
It doesn’t matter how many appearances they’ve made or how new they are. If they’re in a comic, they count.
You’re judging characters based on how entertaining or engaging they are, not how morally good they are. A good character and a good person are two different things.
I’m not going to make a “Top 10 Least Favorite Characters” list. As far as I know, none of my characters are hated by the audience (or at least not openly). I don’t think I’d have enough material for a list.
