More Robots to Smash

I’ve added quite a few new things since my last game update. As you can see, my game now has a name and a title screen. Recently I learned that there’s a type of code called “punch code”. I figured, that’s a perfect name for my game. When I published Spearshield Spaceship, several people told me that music I used wasn’t a good fit for a videogame, so this time I went for 8-bit music by TeknoAXE. I’ll credit them in the finished game.

I also added sound effects. There’s a noise for walking, landing, taking damage, etc. I still didn’t add all the noises I want, though. I’d like Wanda to have a few voice lines, but I can’t impersonate a female voice. I’m still not sure how to make it happen: I can ask a female friend or a family member, I can use AI or I can ask you, the fans.

If you’re a woman (or a man who can talk in a female voice) and you’re interested in doing a bit of voice acting, message me on Twitter or Instagram. We can work out the details, including compensation. I’ll also make sure to credit you in the finished game.

Lastly, I added one more level for you to try. The finished game will probably have 15 levels, so I figured, five is a good amount for a demo. Try it by clicking on this link. I’ll also put a link in the “Games” section later today. Have fun!
