This one has a bit of a backstory behind it. About a week ago, one of my readers suggested using the commenters as characters in my comic. A few other readers liked the idea. I wasn’t too sure about it: it did sound like it would be fun to do, but I feared that I would upset people if I made assumptions about their appearance.

I ended up creating the Commenter: a non-binary grey person that’s here to represent the comments I get. It doesn’t even have to be from my website. People say that if you try to please everybody, you’ll end up pleasing no one. I say, challenge accepted.
