Donation Game: Coalition for the Homeless

Next Tuesday is International Men’s Day. People don’t talk about it much, but there are issues that affect men more than women. Men are the majority of homeless people, suicide victims, college dropouts, etc. Say what you want about women’s issues, but at least the people in power pretend to care about them. Men don’t even get that.

Complaining about a problem is only step one, however. Step two is doing something about it. I’m going to focus on the first issue I mentioned and donate money to the Coalition for the Homeless.

To put it simply, it’s an organization that advocates for and assists the homeless people of New York City. The money I donate will depend on your comments. Think of men who achieved something great (both in the past and the present) and name as many as you can in the comments. Next week, I will donate ten dollars plus one dollar for every man in this comments section. I know I’m kind of rehashing the Women’s Day donation game, but I couldn’t think of anything else. My creativity isn’t that important here. What’s important is you raising the number.
